AWRL is a corporation located in northern Minnesota. Founded in 1972 as a water testing laboratory, AWRL has expanded to include atomic absorption equipment, advanced remote sensing technology, computer modeling programs for lake management studies, and GIS technology compatible with remote sensing data collection.AWRL is a charter member of the North American Lake Management Society and has completed projects for hundreds of private and public clients including:

Why AWRL?
AWRL has a staff that consists of limnologists, biologists, wetland scientists, land use planners, chemists, and remote sensing experts. This combined perspective of looking at environmental issues from both chemical and aerial points of view identifies solutions that would otherwise go unnoticed.AWRL has over 30 years of experience working directly with lake associations on action oriented projects to conduct sampling programs. These sampling programs lead to management plans specific to that lake and its' landowners watershed.
Innovation has always played a key role in the studies we have completed. Due to the increasing complexity of data collection, analysis and evaluation, we do not limit our search for solutions to out-dated methodologies; we aggressively seek applications of the latest technology.
